Legal Aid:
I undertake Legal Aid for family law matters. I do not do Relationship Property work on Legal Aid.
Legal Aid is a government assistance scheme which pays for your lawyer's services. It can be in the form of a grant or loan depending on your circumstances. I will discuss your eligibility for Legal Aid at our first meeting and help your complete your application. There is a one-off $50 "user fee" which all Legal Aid clients are required to pay (this fee does not apply to people applying for Protection Orders).

Family Legal Assistance Scheme:
I provide advice about childcare arrangements and separation as part of the Ministry of Justice Family Legal Assistance Scheme. When we first meet, I will be able to discuss whether you are financially eligible for this service.
